About us
A
Home in France is run by Philip and Danielle Seabrook.
They formed the company as a result of their own
purchase of a farmhouse in the Loire Valley - "We
were both French speaking and legally aware in France
but we knew how much we did not understand, so we
informed ourselves. We then realised that many English
speaking purchasers were buying in the dark, so we set
up AHF to help them." As AHF became known
increasing numbers of French owners asked them to sell
their houses, and the result was the formation of the
French company which is licensed as an estate agency.
Philip
is a UK chartered accountant who has worked in industry
for over 20 years. As Divisional Finance Director of a
UK manufacturing group he was responsable for the
finances of French subsidiaries. Danielle is a UK
barrister who has worked in marine and aviation
insurance, including the risk management of an aircraft
manufacturer. French is her first language.
They
are helped in the Chinon office by Lucie Jahan, sales negotiator, who was brought up in the Touraine, and in
the UK by Rebecca Brown whose background is in sales.
